First off- thank you for such a wonderful start to our year. We’ve been blown away by your incredibly sweet kids and their hard work and determination to improve. They are like little sponges! At this rate- we are going to have the most incredible dance recital!
Question... How is your child liking their classes?
Some kids hop right into a class, others take a while to get into their “groove” – Let us know if you have any concerns or if your dancer wants to try a different class. We like to get kids settled into the right class as early in the fall as we can to ensure they get the most out of their lessons. Don't forget to ask your dancer what they are learning in class- you can ask them to teach YOU! They'd LOVE THAT!!!
If your dancer is considering joining and additional class- it’s best to get them started as soon as possible. Instructors will have to take time from the current class to get new dancers up to speed and repeat information that was previously taught.
Bringing Pom-Pom Back:
We are looking at bringing Pom-pom class back in November. Who would be interested in getting a spot? Pom-pom class is a form of jazz dance, that uses sharp cheer movements and pom-poms to create a visually exciting and magical routine. The class would be Tuesdays from 5:30-6:00 for ages 6-12- preferable with a jazz or pom background. Let Michelle or Kalyna know if you are interested. We’d need a min. of 5 dancers to get it put on the schedule. Thanks!

IMPORTANT OCTOBER DATES:
Incase you missed it- Tuition payments are due the 1st week of classes. A $10 late fee will be applied to your account if you have not paid by the 15th of the month. You should have recieved a statement email from the studio. Let me know if you didn't see it. Contact the studio if you have any questions or concerns.

Oct. 10-14: Bring-A-Friend Week
Dancers are encouraged to Invite a friend to join you for dance class next week. (The invite has a place for the friend’s parent to sign the waiver to participate) All the our dancers that bring a friend to class will be entered into a drawing for 2 Movie tickets to the Wellington Regent! :)

Oct 16: The Dance Effect Intensive @ Kansas Star Casino - Open to all dancers
Required for all showstarz but open to all dancers. Pre-registration is recommended.

Oct 24-27: Costume Week
Dancers can wear their Halloween costumes to class during Costume Week. Proper dance footwear is required and dancers should be able to dance freely in their costume! Parents of young dancers are welcome to come into the studio for the last 5 minutes of class to snap a class picture!
OCT. 31: NO DANCE CLASSES- Halloween
Enjoy trick or treat down the street and Halloween Festivities with your family!
